The Cleveland Museum of Art (CMA) is launching a new student guide program which is open to all CWRU undergraduate students, regardless of major.
The grant provides each student guide a $1,100 annual stipend, which will be disbursed over the two semesters. It is a career exposure program designed to engage undergrads at the CMA. Students will put in approximately 40 hours between training and the eight tours. Fall has a heavier hour load in training than the spring. During training student guides will get exposure to every department at the museum.
The first training session is scheduled for April 30 – May 4. If you are interested in becoming a tour guide but can not commit to the intensive training week, please apply and provide your availability. The museum may be able to make adjustments to the schedule.
The deadline for applying is April 16.
