Congrats 2020 Guthrie Winners

Congratulations to the 2020 Guthrie Prize Winners!  There were 17 great entries this year, and the top participants were neck-and-neck across many categories on the judges’ scoring rubric. In the end, four students were awarded cash prizes totalling $1200. 
This year’s recipients were:
First place  – Sierra Grabowska, Theater ’22

Second place – Jordan Deskins, International Studies ’22
“International Labor Solidarity”
Third place (tie) – Hannah Allen, , English ’22
“No COVID Discount: Sex Workers During the Pandemic”
Third place (tie) Camille Witt, Sociology ’22
“Running and Becoming”
