The Baker-Nord Center for the Humanities welcomes the generosity of individual donors and charitable organizations to help fund its programming.
The Center received a major award from the National Endowment for the Humanities. The recently completed $650,000 NEH Challenge Grant was awarded to support research and programs that advance the humanities across the Case Western Reserve campus and in the Cleveland community. The NEH program is designed to attract philanthropic support; the university had to raise $2.6 million to match the NEH award at a ratio of 4:1. The Challenge Grant was successfully completed in July 2014.
Your gift or pledge will help the Baker-Nord Center further the Baker-Nord Center’s aim to raise the visibility, quality, and educational potential of the humanities.
Please call or email the Baker-Nord Center’s Administrative Director Maggie Kaminski for more information about giving to the Center (216.368.2242 or firstname.lastname@example.org).
We invite you to be a friend of the Baker-Nord Center. Your annual support will help the Baker-Nord Center achieve its mission of highlighting and invigorating the humanities and arts at Case Western Reserve University and building a world-class university. With such support, the Baker-Nord Center aims to continue to keep its programs free and open to the public.
