Fall Funding Opportunities: Application deadline has passed.
- Digital Technology Grant — The Center offers grants of up to $1000 in support of the application
of digital technology to humanities research and dissemination.
- Feldman Technology Fellowship — The Center offers grants of up to $1000 in support of the
application of digital technology to humanities research and dissemination.
- Foreign Travel to Conferences — The Center offers competitive Foreign Travel to Conferences
Grants of up to $1000 to support travel to Conferences. Conference is used here to denote scholarly meetings dedicated to advancing knowledge.
- Graduate Research Grants — Small grants of up to $500 are available to graduate students in
the arts and humanities to help defray expenses associated with MA thesis and dissertation research but not covered by departmental funding.
- Research Working Group Seminar — The Center offers support for research and critical inquiry
in the humanities through research working group seminars. These seminars, to be organized on the semester model, will be composed of faculty and graduate
students in the arts and humanities of the College of Arts and Sciences at Case Western Reserve University.
Spring Funding Opportunities: Application Deadline 5 April, 2013
- Foreign Travel to Conferences — The Center offers competitive Foreign Travel to Conferences
Grants of up to $1000 to support travel to Conferences. Conference is used here to denote scholarly meetings dedicated to advancing knowledge.
- Foreign Travel to Collections — The Center offers competitive Foreign Travel Grants of up to $1000 to support
travel to Collections. Collection is used here to denote libraries, museums, and other related holdings of original archival material not available in the United
States or via interlibrary loan services or digitization.
- Seminar Fellowships — Available to full–time faculty in the arts and humanities within the
College of Arts and Sciences and humanities–related disciplines within Case Western Reserve University; full–time staff from UCI institutions
(requires nomination by the institution). Before applying, carefully read the application instructions and eligibility requirements.
- Research Working Group Seminar — The Center offers support for research and critical inquiry in the
humanities through research working group seminars. These seminars, to be organized on the semester model, will be composed of faculty and graduate students

- Event Co-Sponsorships — The Baker–Nord Center offers co–sponsorships in support of faculty–initiated
campus events that enrich the intellectual life of the University by invigorating interdisciplinary discussion and collaboration in the arts and humanities.
