Cyberinfrastructure Day

Page-Image2This year, Cyberinfrastructure (CI) Day speakers include Dr. Alan Craig (HERE), who will be discussing Big Data in Humanities, Arts, and Social Science, and Dr. Mark Turner (HERE) who will be discussing utilizing Cyberinfrastructure for the study of multimodal communication — language, gesture, and art.

Cyberinfrastructure is the computational research environment that supports data acquisition, processing, visualization that promotes academic research. CI Day is an annual interactive day conference held on campus that brings together CWRU researchers who rely on large-scale computational tools and methods for research. CI Day is an opportunity to learn more about how the cyberinfrastructure help to spur new discoveries and breakthrough in a wide range of disciplines.
